The Monky FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Tajo should have stopped the shot. Felipe Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Nilsson in the 9th minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Wennersten in the 11th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Wennersten in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes Monky FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andro Reiman who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Monky FC's goalie and right to Ladislao Ermengol. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Monky FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Felipe Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Mannuel got free with Jake Leonard in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Håkan Wennersten hit a great ball. Fred Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Romeo Ospin hit a great ball. Fred Nilsson took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Tajo. Felipe Tajo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Felipe Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Sein was the one to do the kick off. WINNING ELEVEN's Fulgencio Xabel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Romeo Ospin in the 55 minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, Fred Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Felipe Tajo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monky FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Nilsson in the 60th minute of play. Denis Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Fred Nilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Tajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Nilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the game, one of Monky FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Felipe Tajo had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Fred Nilsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Fred Nilsson did a trick in the 83rd minute in front of Monky FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-6. An impressive performance by WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson! If Fred Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Tajo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson. But to his dismay, Fred Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Felipe Tajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Nilsson in the 91st minute. Isidro Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jake Leonard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The WINNING ELEVEN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing WINNING ELEVEN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
