With an all-out effort, Konurbano Atletico's Felipe Tajo threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernan Machado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teobaldo Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Wennersten in the 10th minute of play. Denis Sein might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Sein ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Mannuel came free, but Teobaldo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Cristofor's late challenge caught a Konurbano Atletico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Cristofor helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cristofor. With an all-out effort, Konurbano Atletico's Felipe Tajo threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remigiusz Bubczyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Monky FC's Felipe Tajo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Monky FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Cristian Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Felipe Tajo managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Konurbano Atletico's Cristian Ronaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Ronaldos short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Felipe Tajo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Monky FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Machado in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Patricio Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Krzysztof Pochorylo got a free kick in the 34th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Monky FC's Andres Musko tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Wennersten in the 40th minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Justino Tadzio hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Konurbano Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Hurezeanu. After 47 played minutes Konurbano Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Pochorylo. Konurbano Atletico made a substitution. Severiano Tiadoro replaced Remigiusz Bubczyk. Håkan Wennersten hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abi Schrape stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Denis Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Maximino Terciero hit a great ball. Felipe Tajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abi Schrape, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monky FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ronaldo in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monky FC's zone, Abi Schrape stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Tajo came out of the goal and Abi Schrape tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Sein. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Mannuel got free with Teobaldo Demario in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Hurezeanu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ronaldo in the 83rd minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Konurbano Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ronaldo. If Denis Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Abi Schrape made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Tajo. Monky FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Monky FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Konurbano Atletico.
