Karol Borowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Primeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 30 minutes, Domingos Gervaso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DON RAMON 72 and the C. A. Potrero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Domingos Gervaso got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jairo Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes DON RAMON 72's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mauro Silvino who took care of the corner kick. DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Montrell in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute C. A. Potrero's Marcos Bernabel to fire away a dangerous shot which Jairo Primeiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jairo Primeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Borowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes C. A. Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Montrell. The DON RAMON 72 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. Potrero were winning 0-2.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro got control of the ball when Karol Borowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinicio Dayam charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Dayam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karol Borowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Santos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Potrero. 87 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Borowski came free, but Jairo Primeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Silvino's late challenge caught a DON RAMON 72's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
