Teobaldo Demario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobaldo Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobaldo Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Toro Martínez took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Demario. Teobaldo Demario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Toro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amadeo Favila made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hugo Botello. The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toro Martínez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Narcis Hurezeanu in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo. After the first half Despidida AFC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abi Schrape was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Czeslaw Kopacz replaced Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Toro Martínez. Teobaldo Demario came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz. But to his dismay, Czeslaw Kopacz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The Konurbano Atletico fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Despidida AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
