The audience thought a goal was coming when Abi Schrape got free with Jake Leonard in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when Konurbano Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Bubczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ronaldo in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ronaldo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jake Leonard saved WINNING ELEVEN from getting behind. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Fred Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teobaldo Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Fred Nilsson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Konurbano Atletico's Teobaldo Demario tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Demario. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Ringo Howard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abi Schrape to maneuver through the defense. Fred Nilsson scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobaldo Demario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Nilsson in the 39th minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Konurbano Atletico's Severiano Tiadoro was substituted for Remigiusz Bubczyk. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abi Schrape stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Abi Schrape shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Leonard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narcis Hurezeanu made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Ronaldo. Jake Leonard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abi Schrape's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes WINNING ELEVEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximino Terciero who took care of the corner kick. 62 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Demario. Konurbano Atletico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini was substituted for Fred Nilsson. Narcis Hurezeanu made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Ronaldo however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Narcis Hurezeanu got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Konurbano Atletico defense, Neron Veterini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Demario. The Konurbano Atletico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Demario should have stopped the shot.
