An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Tano in the 21st minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 25th minute of play. Amado Jordão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Urtun came free, but Jake Leonard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Punk Fiction's Celedonio Enetz got a free kick in the 40th minute. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Nayely was the one to do the kick off. WINNING ELEVEN's Mihnea Terzian quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evelio Federigo, made in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to WINNING ELEVEN getting a freekick after 55 minutes play.
