Costin Duca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jairo Primeiro made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Costin Duca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Primeiro was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Jairo Primeiro made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Costin Duca sent off a good shot on target. When Salmuera CP's Fan Xing Zhou in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Duca got free with Jairo Primeiro in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes of play, DON RAMON 72's Rolando Urtsua made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Maria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pablo Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wang Yi Fei charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wang Yi Fei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wang Yi Fei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Primeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Gopala Pillai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Rolando Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fan Xing Zhou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jairo Primeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Torcuato Herrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jairo Primeiro made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Costin Duca made the kick off in the second half. Walter Sanvicente kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Salmuera CP's Ruperto Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Pio in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Pio in the 53rd minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Ruperto Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DON RAMON 72 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rolando Urtsua hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Feo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in DON RAMON 72's zone, Pablo Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Primeiro came out of the goal and Pablo Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Fan Xing Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes DON RAMON 72 got a freekick which was hit by Wang Yi Fei. Salmuera CP's Torcuato Herrero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DON RAMON 72. 65 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Ruperto Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Gervaso. In the 77th minute Fan Xing Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fan Xing Zhou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Primeiro having to make a save. DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Duca in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the DON RAMON 72 defense, Fan Xing Zhou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Primeiro. The DON RAMON 72 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Primeiro should have stopped the shot. Torcuato Herrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Duca came free, but Jairo Primeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
