After 2 minutes, Elpidio Chap mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punk Fiction and the WINNING ELEVEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Punk Fiction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Chap to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes in the game Abelardo Tancredo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gilberto Nayely. Jake Leonard was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Gilberto Nayely capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Nayely really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 17th minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Jordão having to make a save. Amado Jordão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Nilsson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Bidari came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jake Leonard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Punk Fiction defense, Fred Nilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Jordão. The Punk Fiction fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Jordão should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Jordão. Punk Fiction's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 47 minutes, Ringo Howard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ringo Howard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Nayely stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ringo Howard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Amado Jordão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jake Leonard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. WINNING ELEVEN's Fulgencio Xabel was substituted for Vilhelm Gustafsson. In the 71stth minute of the game Fred Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ringo Howard in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Punk Fiction's Silvio Feliz got a free kick in the 77th minute. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Neron Veterini replaced Fred Nilsson. Silvio Feliz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão got control of the ball when Neron Veterini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neron Veterini succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 90th playminute. WINNING ELEVEN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
