Gez Winship showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadri Coşan in the 5th minute of the match. When Hulusi Berkman got free in front of the goal in the 12th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gez Winship was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Under 18 Universe's Balamir Taykoç got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Hulusi Berkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gez Winship was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Göktuğ Boysel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gez Winship having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Kadri Coşan came free, but Gez Winship reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Kadri Coşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gez Winship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hulusi Berkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kadri Coşan took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gez Winship. Gez Winship dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hayden Starr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Under 18 Universe getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Asrın Peyami hit a great ball. When Memphis Grizzlies's Freddy Tindale in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Under 18 Universe's goalie prevented a goal. When Harry Johnson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Memphis Grizzlies's protests and gave Harry Johnson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Memphis Grizzlies's Lance Mowlem was substituted for Phillip Byfield. Harry Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Tindale during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Tindale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Under 18 Universe's Balamir Taykoç seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Balamir Taykoç the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Under 18 Universe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Balamir Taykoç had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Hayden Starr sped through Under 18 Universe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tahsin Orguntay. In the 80th minute Görkem Mümtaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gez Winship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Kellaway kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tahsin Orguntay came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's Hayden Starr. But to his dismay, Hayden Starr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 91 minutes into the game, Freddy Tindale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Tahsin Orguntay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Memphis Grizzlies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Under 18 Universe for a fine match.
