Efren Viscarra's late challenge caught a Spams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efren Viscarra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Efren Viscarra hit a great ball. Miguel Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Veto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ricardo Mora hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes of play, Spams's Gualterio Veto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Marin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stipe Pletikosa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Carmelo Sandoval sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Carmelo Sandoval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spams's Ovidio Qwinton was substituted for Gualterio Veto.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Félix Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Simon Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spams's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Venceslao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Qwinton in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GuateFortín's Miguel Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Crescencio came free, but Miguel Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
