With a little luck, GuateFortín's Miguel Marin got control of the ball when Hulusi Berkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Moreno in the 8th minute of play forced Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Göktuğ Boysel fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Under 18 Universe's protests and gave Göktuğ Boysel a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Félix Moreno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tahsin Orguntay was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Akersoy in the 20th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Miguel Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulusi Berkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Marin having to interfere. Görkem Mümtaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Miguel Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tahsin Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Moreno in the 29th minute of the match. Hulusi Berkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Miguel Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Görkem Mümtaz took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Miguel Marin to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Görkem Mümtaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Ümit Akersoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Under 18 Universe and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With an all-out effort, GuateFortín's Tahsin Orguntay threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Félix Moreno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmet Çağrı Özdoa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tahsin Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Moreno in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Hulusi Berkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Under 18 Universe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Dennys Erazo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Under 18 Universe the free kick.
