Tahsin Orguntay came out of the goal and Vladimiro Bartoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Tulio in the 9th minute of play forced Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulusi Berkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rodrigo Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Bartoli charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Bartoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Filiberto Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Filiberto Meder hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Filiberto Meder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caballeritos del Baile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 32 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Albano Hitzeder. With a little luck, Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes got control of the ball when Atalan Maruf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Tulio was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulusi Berkman in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Görkem Mümtaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Pes. Caballeritos del Baile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Görkem Mümtaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Leonides Tulio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tahsin Orguntay was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Under 18 Universe's players were relieved. 95 minutes into the match, Florentino Veronica notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay. Tahsin Orguntay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caballeritos del Baile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
