When Carmelo Sandoval fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Carmelo Sandoval a yellow card for diving instead. 12 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Miguel Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Javiar. After some careless play in the Amboy FC defense, Danilo Viscarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Santo. The Amboy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Santo should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Vo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Amboy FC were awarded a corner. Zé Vo went to the cornerflag to take it. Elias Talia hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Viscarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Viscarra in the 31st minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Vo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Danilo Viscarra made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danilo Viscarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Severiano Santo made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Zé Vo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Félix Moreno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severiano Santo. That made the score 2-3 in the 63 minute of play. During the 71st minute of the match Carmelo Sandoval completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent.
