After some careless play in the lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc defense, Diego Milito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Dubardo. The lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Dubardo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Dubardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Astor Dubardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Nofre in the 29th minute of play. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Harriet in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Taurino in the 40th minute of play forced lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's goalkeeper Astor Dubardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Dubardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Nofre in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute Joaquin Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Dubardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Astor Dubardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime was substituted for Florencio Paz.
