An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Taurino in the 13th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Silvestre Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caballeritos del Baile's Silvestre Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Meder to maneuver through the defense. Caballeritos del Baile's Silvestre Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Milito in the 19th minute of play. Fabricio Errapel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Veronica in the 22nd minute of play. Silvestre Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Severiano Taurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeritos del Baile's Silvestre Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Severiano Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Franco. Caballeritos del Baile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Silvestre Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Nofre in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Joaquin Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Nofre scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Braulio Lehior hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Vladimiro Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Taurino struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Silvestre Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Balvanera. The Caballeritos del Baile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Balvanera were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Nofre was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Taurino. Joaquin Nofres short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Silvestre Franco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silvestre Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Taurino in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Joaquin Nofre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz was substituted for Gilberto Inautzi. Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime was substituted for Florencio Paz. 71 minutes in the game, Joaquin Nofre dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Taurino got free with Silvestre Franco in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Silvestre Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Taurino. 78 minutes into the game, Fabricio Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Balvanera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballeritos del Baile the free kick. In the 78th minute, Fabricio Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Meder in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Behe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Meder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Behe was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Silvestre Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Nofre in the 87th minute of the match. Caballeritos del Baile's Silvestre Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. The Caballeritos del Baile fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Balvanera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
