The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ümit Akersoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Primitivo Domenec got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Generoso Bemabe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kadri Coşan. Kadri Coşan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Generoso Bemabe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Louis in the 10th minute of play forced Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil Can Balkoç in the 12th minute of play. Arnoldo Curcio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Görkem Mümtaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kadri Coşan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Generoso Bemabe made a huge save. Tahsin Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Curcio in the 30th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Curcio was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Ortle. If Kadri Coşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Cenk Şenol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Cipriano Chuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AZURDUY F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Under 18 Universe the free kick. Tahsin Orguntay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Chuan in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Cipriano Chuan got a free kick in the 78th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Bircan Temizsan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
