Javier Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Blackwater in the 5th minute of play. Dave Fleming hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Abelardo Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gez Winship made a huge save. In the 14th minute of the match, Mateo Pellegrino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gez Winship saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Dave Fleming got a free kick in the 16th minute. Harvey McLiam Wilson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harvey McLiam Wilson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Harvey McLiam Wilson hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Evaristo Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Ramone hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Arnoldo Bizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Michael Kellaway shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Milei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ladislao Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Pity 31's Javier Milei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayden Starr in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayden Starr in the 33rd minute of play forced Pity 31's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Dave Fleming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Javier Milei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Tindale to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Fleming to maneuver through the defense. Pity 31's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hayden Starr 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Michael Kellaway hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Evaristo Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gez Winship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Memphis Grizzlies's Freddy Tindale made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Milei was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Memphis Grizzlies supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Memphis Grizzlies would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
