The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Dionisio Oton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Dionisio Oton got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Prospero Rubio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Milei. Pity 31's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Rubio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Enrique Lekubegi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Pellegrino's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Pity 31's Enrique Lekubegi threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mateo Pellegrino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Argi to maneuver through the defense. Javier Milei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Pellegrino got free with Enrique Lekubegi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Evaristo Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pity 31's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. Evaristo Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Abelardo Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enrique Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Palermo booed when Pity 31 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Abelardo Petrigai sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prospero Rubio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateo Pellegrino charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Pellegrino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 50th minute, Mateo Pellegrino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Pellegrino, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Pity 31's Mateo Pellegrino. But to his dismay, Mateo Pellegrino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Gaufred in the 62nd minute of play forced Pity 31's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Milei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Pellegrino in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Pity 31's Alfonso Bertol seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfonso Bertol the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pity 31 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfonso Bertol had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pity 31! The supporters of Palermo booed when Pity 31 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Pity 31 got a freekick which was hit by Omar Balesio. Enrique Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Pellegrino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Pity 31's Evaristo Avellaneda to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Lekubegi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
