In the 17th minute ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner. Jean-Paul Møffelmand went to the cornerflag to take it. DirectorVisual.com's Mauro Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Huyghebaert in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Edward Huyghebaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Iruinea. DirectorVisual.com's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Huyghebaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of DirectorVisual.com booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Paul Møffelmand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Casco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Edward Huyghebaert scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Iruinea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Raphael Fenton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the DirectorVisual.com defense, Raphael Fenton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Iruinea. The DirectorVisual.com fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Iruinea should have stopped the shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio was substituted for Edward Huyghebaert. After 42 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Iruinea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mauro Iruinea came out of the goal and Jardel Baggio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jardel Baggio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Iruinea having to make a save. In the 77th minute Jardel Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Baggio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Iruinea having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Luque in the 87th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jardel Baggio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, DirectorVisual.com's goalkeeper Mauro Iruinea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Baggio. DirectorVisual.com's Mauro Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Baggio in the 93rd minute of play. Nilson Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Urtats in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ITAFUT 4EVER had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
