After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Arí Brito got a free kick in the 4th minute. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Huyghebaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Huyghebaert in the 7th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Omar Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Erroman came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Eusebio Ecija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edward Huyghebaert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Lauren was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Deportivo Balvanera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Paul Møffelmand took the corner. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Portalupi got free with Nilson Peres in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Portalupi was the one to do the kick off. When Sebastião Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ITAFUT 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Henriques couldn't finish the play. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Erroman in the 57th minute of play. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Portalupi in the 61st minute of play. Omar Lauren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Portalupi in the 65th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardel Baggio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Lauren. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Prudencio Uhin replaced Eugenio Mena. Deportivo Balvanera's François-Xavier Castello was substituted for Isaias Erroman. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Sidney Bertassi replaced Sebastião Henriques. Cauan Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Lauren was left in no man's land by his defense there! François-Xavier Castello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Peres having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eusebio Ecija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Ecija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. François-Xavier Castello took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Peres. Nilson Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Chants of ITAFUT 4EVER echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Deportivo Balvanera had held the ball for most of the match.
