Teodosio Iigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tom Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleopas Plouffe having to interfere. AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio was substituted for Vinicio Venceslao. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Alberto Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Iigo came out of the goal and Alberto Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Romildo. Niclas Füllkrug's late challenge caught a Defensores de Mar de Ajó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niclas Füllkrug helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Niclas Füllkrug hit a great ball. The supporters of Defensores de Mar de Ajó booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Cesar Romildo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 77 minutes in the game, Cesar Romildo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Romildo in the 88th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Romildo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Iigo saved AZURDUY F.C. from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Cesar Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Romildo in the 94th minute of play. The AZURDUY F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores de Mar de Ajó were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
