When Yeşilköyspor's Emilio Castulo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rakı Sevenler FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Misaki in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Acun Tandan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Castulo in the 27th minute of the match. Edvin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Yeşilköyspor's Luo Ke Xiang. But to his dismay, Luo Ke Xiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Vieri made a precise shot to the right of Acun Tandan. Yeşilköyspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 35 minutes into the game, Luo Ke Xiang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeşilköyspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakı Sevenler FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Misaki got free with Acun Tandan in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute of the match Rakı Sevenler FC got a corner. Yeşilköyspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cebrail Bağdaş ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rakı Sevenler FC's Cristian Vieri to fire away a dangerous shot which Acun Tandan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Acun Tandan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tom Misaki sent off a good shot on target. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Vieri drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Castulo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rakı Sevenler FC's Edvin van der Sar got control of the ball when Emilio Castulo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Misaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Acun Tandan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acun Tandan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Misaki in the 56th minute of play. Acun Tandan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Misaki's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Rakı Sevenler FC's Tom Misaki in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yeşilköyspor's goalie prevented a goal. Acun Tandan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Étienne Cubizolles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Misaki in the 71st minute of play forced Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper Acun Tandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Misaki in the 93rd minute of play forced Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper Acun Tandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rakı Sevenler FC had won after a very even match.
