Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freddy Valentine started the match with the kick off. Tom Misaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zeledon Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Misaki in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Valentine in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Tom Misaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Curcio. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Curcio should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Joselito Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Valentine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Freddy Valentine scored 2-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Misaki in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. In the 27th minute Rakı Sevenler FC were awarded a corner. Cebrail Bağdaş went to the cornerflag to take it. Rakı Sevenler FC's Cebrail Bağdaş was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zeledon Curcio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joselito Gimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Zeledon Curcio made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Misaki. The supporters of Rakı Sevenler FC booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Misaki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Zeledon Curcio made a huge save. After 34 minutes, Tom Misaki made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yala's Zeledon Curcio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Vieri in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Rakı Sevenler FC's Tom Misaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Curcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Misaki got free with Zeledon Curcio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tom Misaki to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Joselito Gimenez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Curcio. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Curcio should have stopped the shot. Étienne Cubizolles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Misaki in the 62nd minute of play. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Misaki in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Zacarias Rik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Feo in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yala's zone, Joselito Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Curcio came out of the goal and Joselito Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Santiago Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Yala's Freddy Claude got a free kick in the 86th minute. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cebrail Bağdaş in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Étienne Cubizolles in the 89th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joselito Gimenez in the 91st minute of the match. When Étienne Cubizolles came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Rakı Sevenler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Étienne Cubizolles couldn't finish the play. Joselito Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zeledon Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rakı Sevenler FC had won after a very even match.
