In the 18th minute, one of Rakı Sevenler FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rakı Sevenler FC. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Hummerfiskarna. Nils-Åke Lagerberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edvin van der Sar. 2-0. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 22nd minute of play. Rakı Sevenler FC's Edvin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Rakı Sevenler FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Misaki in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Mattsson saved Hummerfiskarna from getting behind. In the 27th minute Rakı Sevenler FC were awarded a corner. Cebrail Bağdaş went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Rakı Sevenler FC's Edvin van der Sar got control of the ball when Bolli Bolla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nils-Åke Lagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Hummerfiskarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florin Răducioiu in the 32nd minute. Florin Răducioiu made a great header on Hummerfiskarna's corner, it was just that Rakı Sevenler FC's Edvin van der Sar managed to reach the ball for a save. 34 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvin van der Sar. Rakı Sevenler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 43rd minute of play forced Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tom Misaki to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin van der Sar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. Rakı Sevenler FC's Edvin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 53rd minute of play. Arnaldo Queirós scored 5-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Tom Misaki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Holger Mattsson. Tom Misaki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Arnaldo Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hummerfiskarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Bolli Bolla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvin van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Edvin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Misaki came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea De Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Sar having to interfere. Hummerfiskarna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
