Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Valera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC FORZA MARTIRE's Olev Lill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 15th minute of play. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Arnaldo Queirós sped through FC FORZA MARTIRE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olev Lill. Olev Lill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolli Bolla's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Hummerfiskarna got a corner. FC FORZA MARTIRE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florin Răducioiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Lagerberg in the 27th minute of play forced FC FORZA MARTIRE's goalkeeper Olev Lill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olev Lill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Florin Răducioiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hummerfiskarna played a much better game than FC FORZA MARTIRE and deserved their victory. The FC FORZA MARTIRE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
