In the 13th minute Zhao Yao Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizam Soner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Luke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guo Han Di read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU were awarded a corner. Batıhan Seyfeddin went to the cornerflag to take it. Nizam Soner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Zhao Yao Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizam Soner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27th play minutes Nereo Luke shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Guo Han Di and just under the crossbar into goal. Nereo Luke might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guo Han Di. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Luke ran back to his position shaking his head. Guo Han Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Luke in the 30th minute of play. Gösta Brolin made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Åke Aspengren immediately put the ball in play. Guo Han Di stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Luke's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Nereo Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guo Han Di showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gösta Brolin made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sune Axelsson. Mateo Jaraba hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhao Yao Ying to make the kick off. Nizam Soner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Aspengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Lingren hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With his leg Nizam Soner managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Oldham Athletic's Sune Axelsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 56 minutes !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johannes Willig who took care of the corner kick. Nereo Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Guo Han Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Nereo Luke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Luke in the 61st minute of play. Nereo Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guo Han Di having to make a save. Oldham Athletic's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU had won, even though Oldham Athletic had held more of the ball.
