The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes Kutten Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Tychy. With his leg Iwo Bienienda managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Oldham Athletic's David Lindmark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kutten Wolves's Iwo Bienienda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Kutten Wolves from getting a goal against them. David Lindmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwo Bienienda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Lindmark ran back to his position shaking his head. Iwo Bienienda was a little too slow when David Lindmark got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 4-0. David Lindmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwo Bienienda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Lindmark to strike the kick off in the second half. The Oldham Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Oldham Athletic's David Lindmark looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 56thth minute of the game David Lindmark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kutten Wolves's Iwo Bienienda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Bogumil Bronkala put in a rough tackle. In the 57th minute, one of Kutten Wolves:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kutten Wolves. The referee gave Oldham Athletic a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Per-Olof Högberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kutten Wolves's Iwo Bienienda. 7-0. 62 minutes into the game, Leonardo Deckberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Iwo Bienienda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Lindmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the game, David Lindmark cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Iwo Bienienda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oldham Athletic's Joacim Strand was substituted for Per-Olof Högberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Gregersson in the 74th minute of play forced Kutten Wolves's goalkeeper Iwo Bienienda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwo Bienienda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Gregersson in the 76th minute of play. Iwo Bienienda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arman Gregersson's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arman Gregersson in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Bienienda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Oldham Athletic's Arman Gregersson in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kutten Wolves's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, Arman Gregersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwo Bienienda was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 95 minutes into the game, Joacim Strand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Iwo Bienienda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Oldham Athletic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
