If Ivo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Victor Eliu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tor Echegoyen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 24 minutes of play, El Azulgrana's Tulio Contratas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Echegoyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ladislao Maurino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Simões's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Laurin in the 33rd minute of play. When Eric Simion came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chute de Ouro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Simion couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El Azulgrana's Amadeo Kimetz got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Simion in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Maurino saved El Azulgrana from getting behind. In the 48th minute of the match Ivo Simões sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislao Maurino skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivo Simões to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Laurin came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juarês Dante hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Chute de Ouro FC's Ivo Simões ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ladislao Maurino. Ladislao Maurino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Laurin in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Simões in the 73rd minute of play forced El Azulgrana's goalkeeper Ladislao Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Maurino stood somewhat misplaced when Ivo Simões came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 75 minute. In the 80th minute Aquiles Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Simões in the 83rd minute of play forced El Azulgrana's goalkeeper Ladislao Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Pãduret during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chute de Ouro FC's Constantin Pãduret got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Eliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The El Azulgrana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chute de Ouro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chute de Ouro FC.
