The Dínamo Kwanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, FK BLAZER's Shawn Plummer got control of the ball when Fábio Preto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Tim Byfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Montoia during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dínamo Kwanza's Pedro Montoia got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the FK BLAZER defense, Fábio Preto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shawn Plummer. The FK BLAZER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shawn Plummer should have stopped the shot. Shawn Plummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felíx Galão, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Dínamo Kwanza's Carlos Carvoeiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Carvoeiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dínamo Kwanza protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Carvoeiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dínamo Kwanza fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave FK BLAZER a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Garth Kennedy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dínamo Kwanza's Custódio Teive. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Llewellyn in the 29th minute of play forced Dínamo Kwanza's goalkeeper Custódio Teive to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Felíx Galão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Plummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Pete Kitching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Teive saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Custódio Teive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Kitching in the 33rd minute of play. Shawn Plummer came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Dínamo Kwanza's Fábio Preto. But to his dismay, Fábio Preto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Felíx Galão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shawn Plummer. That made the score 4-1 in the 39 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pete Kitching to strike the kick off in the second half. Shawn Plummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felíx Galão in the 52nd minute of the match. Custódio Teive made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Llewellyn in the 54th minute. If Fábio Preto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tim Byfield hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sebastián Sá, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match, Pete Kitching tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Custódio Teive saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pete Kitching could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Custódio Teive made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, Des Wildman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK BLAZER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dínamo Kwanza the free kick. Pete Kitching scored 4-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Custódio Teive, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 minutes of play, Dínamo Kwanza's Fábio Preto made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shawn Plummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FK BLAZER's Tim Byfield got a free kick in the 95th minute. Shawn Plummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Preto went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Dínamo Kwanza were the better team. Dínamo Kwanza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
