Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Oakcroft Thrashers's Ian Wright started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Cristian Gomes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 7 minutes, Jörn Holm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oakcroft Thrashers and the Jung 1972 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Jörn Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steevy Ciobica in the 9th minute of play. Cristian Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Andersson in the 12th minute of play. If Murilo Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Toral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jörn Holm could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Cristian Gomes however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Wright in the 31st minute of play. Steevy Ciobica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Toral in the 41st minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo de Sousa in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Modig saved Oakcroft Thrashers from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Paulo de Sousa during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Jung 1972 got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo de Sousa. Cristian Gomes had great luck who in the 49thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ian Wright from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jung 1972 made a substitution. Sérgio Maia replaced Ali Toral. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Maia to make the kick off. Christoffer Modig made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Wilian Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Jung 1972's Cristian Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Holm in the 58th minute of play. Cristian Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Ekeberg in the 61st minute of the match. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Oakcroft Thrashers from getting a goal against them. Cristian Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amas Chohan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jung 1972 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Amas Chohan hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Sérgio Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steevy Ciobica came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christoffer Modig could save by the left post. Cristian Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Andersson in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anders Andersson in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Wright in the 86th minute of play forced Jung 1972's goalkeeper Cristian Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffer Modig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Nogueira in the 88th minute. Anders Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Gomes having to interfere. Oakcroft Thrashers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Basílio Nogueira scored to the left of an out of position Christoffer Modig, making the score, 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jung 1972 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
