In the 44th play minute Song Di Xu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristian Gomes. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Jung 1972's Basílio Nogueira was substituted for Luiz Paulo de Sousa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sérgio Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Di Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
