Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Rivas in the 16th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Michal Bulkiewicz in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fetiyerd's Oliverios Astudillo. In the 25th minute Josué Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Cassandros Elite Team's Josué Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montes Quevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Josué Pedroso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolf Hamberg made a kick off. Lisandro Guerreiro made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jairo Veiga however managed to control. Montes Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Veiga in the 56th minute of the match. Olavo Pinto came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Fetiyerd's Aurelio Rivas. But to his dismay, Aurelio Rivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Rolf Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aurelio Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
