In the 12thth minute of the game Rolf Hamberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SazobaSpor's Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, SazobaSpor's Mala Kicia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo Pinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th minute Mala Kicia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto got control of the ball when Stasio Zawadzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tärik Qäribov kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes, Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Hamberg in the 29th minute of play. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mala Kicia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Olavo Pinto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mala Kicia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Pinto having to interfere. Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahattin Hadi in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Pedroso in the 44th minute of play forced SazobaSpor's goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Pedroso in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Cassandros Elite Team got a corner. SazobaSpor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolf Hamberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mala Kicia made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Mala Kicia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SazobaSpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. SazobaSpor's Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Veiga in the 53rd minute of play. Olavo Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mala Kicia's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes Cassandros Elite Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhuang Guang Bang who took care of the corner kick. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was a little too slow when Rolf Hamberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 3-1. SazobaSpor made a substitution. Qağakişi Dünyamaliyev replaced Gaudencio Diagur. SazobaSpor's Nurlan Salmanov was substituted for Mala Kicia. Rolf Hamberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov made a huge save. Rolf Hamberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cassandros Elite Team were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after SazobaSpor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolf Hamberg took the corner. Cassandros Elite Team's Ogün Sarper was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Stasio Zawadzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. SazobaSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Stasio Zawadzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josué Pedroso came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov could save by the left post. When Emílio Bandeira fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cassandros Elite Team's protests and gave Emílio Bandeira a yellow card for diving instead. Emílio Bandeira kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
