Türkeş Akşit's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bengt Byström firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Türkeş Akşit took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bengt Byström to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Bajenby's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naci Tansu was slow to take the kick. During this time Andırın SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Andırın SK's Naci Tansu to fire away a dangerous shot which Bengt Byström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zhu Ao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breannain McNamee in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Türkeş Akşit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt Byström. IFK Bajenby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Türkeş Akşit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Türkeş Akşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, IFK Bajenby's Bengt Byström got control of the ball when Türkeş Akşit tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Türkeş Akşit got free with Bengt Byström in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Türkeş Akşit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bengt Byström made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Bajenby's zone, Türkeş Akşit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Byström came out of the goal and Türkeş Akşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Türkeş Akşit got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bengt Byström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Breannain McNamee took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhu Ao. Zhu Ao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bengt Byström was a little too slow when Türkeş Akşit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-1. A collision led to IFK Bajenby getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Johannes Sundén hit a great ball.

Türkeş Akşit ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, IFK Bajenby's goal looked a bit too open when Türkeş Akşit came free, but Bengt Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Türkeş Akşit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt Byström having to make a save. Bengt Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 60th minute of play. Zhu Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breannain McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Türkeş Akşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 64th minute of play. Zhu Ao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolphe De Coster in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Taci Ulusoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türkeş Akşit in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Byström saved IFK Bajenby from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Türkeş Akşit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Bengt Byström came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit. But to his dismay, Türkeş Akşit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Andırın SK's Jozef Botto was substituted for Türkeş Uğuralp. Zhu Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breannain McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Olaf Jarosz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jozef Botto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Frans Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Botto in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Andırın SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while IFK Bajenby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
