After 7 played minutes SazobaSpor got a freekick which was hit by 邱朋沙. After a defensive mix-up in SazobaSpor's zone, Harry Ekeberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov came out of the goal and Harry Ekeberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by SazobaSpor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Ekeberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Oakcroft Thrashers's players had a chance to rest. Zhuang Guang Bang thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov, a very annoying self made goal in the 17th minute which led to 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Diagur. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Wright in the 24th minute of the match. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Zawadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Zawadzki came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörn Holm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SazobaSpor's zone, Jörn Holm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov came out of the goal and Jörn Holm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Zawadzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Christoffer Modig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahattin Hadi in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, SazobaSpor's goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Holm. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Jörn Holm took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to make any attempt to save it. In the 53rd minute, Eevert Hiltunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Wright in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Zawadzki came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörn Holm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Mala Kicia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Modig. Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mala Kicia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in SazobaSpor's zone, Svante Gustafsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov came out of the goal and Svante Gustafsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Oakcroft Thrashers players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SazobaSpor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
