After recieving a nice pass, Oakcroft Thrashers's Harry Ekeberg tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih got control of the ball when Jörn Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner. Harry Ekeberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Cenk Senih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Holm in the 11th minute. Jörn Holm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Cenk Senih skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jörn Holm sped through FC GILSAA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cenk Senih. In the 17th minute Miguel Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oakcroft Thrashers's Ian Wright in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC GILSAA:s Cenk Senih showed great skill when he stopped Ian Wright:s penalty. FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC GILSAA from getting a goal against them. Christoffer Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hagbart Mølsgaard in the 28th minute of the match. With his leg Cenk Senih managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 31 minutes of play FC GILSAA's Ali Lindekilde was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cenk Senih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Wright in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 minutes FC GILSAA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harry Ekeberg who took care of the corner kick. Oakcroft Thrashers's Hugo Hellgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cenk Senih in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 37 minutes, Ian Wright made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ian Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Senih having to interfere. Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after FC GILSAA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry Ekeberg took the corner. The corner led Oakcroft Thrashers's Harry Ekeberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Cenk Senih despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Wright made a kick off. If Jörn Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC GILSAA's Daniel Agger got a free kick in the 70th minute. FC GILSAA made a substitution. Torkild Skøt replaced Daniel Agger. Daniel Agger kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Holm in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cenk Senih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cenk Senih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Wright in the 83rd minute of play forced FC GILSAA's goalkeeper Cenk Senih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenk Senih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Holm's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Ian Wright might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cenk Senih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Wright ran back to his position shaking his head. Cenk Senih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Benigno Jerrold got a free kick in the 91st minute. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Benigno Jerrold hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC GILSAA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oakcroft Thrashers.
