Fevzi Baykara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Lisandro Ihintza made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fevzi Baykara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lisandro Ihintza to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jung 1972's goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lisandro Ihintza was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Fevzi Baykara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fevzi Baykara really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jung 1972's zone, Fevzi Baykara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ihintza came out of the goal and Fevzi Baykara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fevzi Baykara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Lisandro Ihintza made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Fevzi Baykara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Ihintza was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Śląsk Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Fevzi Baykara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Ihintza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 60 played minutes, Śląsk Bytom's Stefan Danisiewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Śląsk Bytom reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Antoni Brama successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lisandro Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fevzi Baykara in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Fevzi Baykara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Ihintza. Jung 1972's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fevzi Baykara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Śląsk Bytom's Roland Tomaszewski was substituted for Roch Zajonc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 69th minute of play forced Jung 1972's goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jung 1972 booed when Śląsk Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fevzi Baykara didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Fevzi Baykara sped through Jung 1972's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Ihintza. Ulryk Miazga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lisandro Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Fevzi Baykara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jung 1972's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
