Raphael de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington Barbosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Asgar Lehnsbo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Asgar Lehnsbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Barbosa having to interfere. If Asgar Lehnsbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kjeld Heinstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Mesquita in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kenneth Jelsby managed to get in a good position for a shot. RoBen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Jelsby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Gil Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Diego Teixeira hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Wellington Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asgar Lehnsbo in the 26th minute of the match. RoBen FC's Kjeld Heinstrøm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael de Medeiros in the 28th minute of play. Arnfred Jerløv hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, RoBen FC's Reinhard Garrild got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Asgar Lehnsbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asgar Lehnsbo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wellington Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asgar Lehnsbo ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kjeld Heinstrøm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Vasco FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenneth Jelsby made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes, Kristof Rarbo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RoBen FC and the Vasco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute of the match, Gil Motta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kjeld Heinstrøm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Vasco FC's zone, Asgar Lehnsbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Barbosa came out of the goal and Asgar Lehnsbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RoBen FC the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Severo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RoBen FC booed when Vasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asgar Lehnsbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Rarbo. Jonas Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Veloso hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Wellington Barbosa came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by RoBen FC's Kenneth Jelsby. But to his dismay, Kenneth Jelsby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The throw-in from Tiago Gabriel Mesquita in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RoBen FC's Asgar Lehnsbo. Kenneth Jelsby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Balthazar Jan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjeld Heinstrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. RoBen FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
