Chi Bay started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Ion Ologu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mekki Pink was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bonggo Suwandi fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JEMBer UTara's protests and gave Bonggo Suwandi a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Lucrețiu Istrate put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mekki Pink. Petre Irod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chi Bay's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Ion Ologu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JEMBer UTara's Mekki Pink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Delphine Stars were awarded a corner. Rareș Blajovici went to the cornerflag to take it. Delphine Stars's Rareș Blajovici was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mekki Pink in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Delphine Stars's Ion Ologu in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JEMBer UTara's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Ipate to maneuver through the defense. If Ion Ologu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Ion Ologu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mekki Pink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mekki Pink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Ologu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Ipate to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Costel Macarie hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chi Bay in the 66th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Petre Irod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Mekki Pink, was totally fooled by Delphine Stars's Rareș Blajovici, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Chi Bay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JEMBer UTara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chi Bay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petre Irod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chi Bay's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of JEMBer UTara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Delphine Stars:s goal. 81 minutes into the game, Vasile Chira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delphine Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JEMBer UTara the free kick. After 81 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Chira. In the 82nd match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Chira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cristi Ipate hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Ipate to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Chi Bay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Irod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Jem But mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JEMBer UTara and the Delphine Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jem But kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rareș Blajovici hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Delphine Stars's Cristi Ipate seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cristi Ipate the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Delphine Stars protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristi Ipate had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Petre Irod had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Chi Bay's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mekki Pink acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 98th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ion Ologu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Delphine Stars walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
