In the 20th minute Ladislao Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Bienienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 24 in the game by Horaţiu Măcrinici from a close distance when the talented Iwo Bienienda managed to make a qualified save. Kutten Wolves's players were relieved. Zaher Al Srae hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Luiz Fábio de Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iwo Bienienda. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. Iwo Bienienda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Bienienda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwo Bienienda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 44th minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ladislao Gerazan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwo Bienienda. Iwo Bienienda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. 49 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Măcrinici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwo Bienienda. Kutten Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horaţiu Măcrinici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Măcrinici to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Horaţiu Măcrinici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Bienienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Horaţiu Măcrinici sped through Kutten Wolves's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iwo Bienienda. Horaţiu Măcrinici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iwo Bienienda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ödön Zsinka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thor Vase in the 86 minute of the game. If Horaţiu Măcrinici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Kutten Wolves defense, Horaţiu Măcrinici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwo Bienienda. The Kutten Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Bienienda should have stopped the shot. Horaţiu Măcrinici took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwo Bienienda. Iwo Bienienda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kutten Wolves's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Nova Iguaçu MZFC were the better team. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
