After 10 minutes Ryttartorpets FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evert Taube who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Malmö White Knights's corner Evert Taube fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrik Linqvist quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Malmö White Knights got a corner. Ryttartorpets FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evert Taube ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Di Feng Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvijs Presley, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Elvijs Presley took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Patrik Linqvist to make any attempt to save it. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roby Baggio in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Patrik Linqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Malmö White Knights's Elvijs Presley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hubert Gruber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Johnny Banks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Banks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Martinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roby Baggio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Malmö White Knights fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Malmö White Knights's Elvijs Presley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Ryttartorpets FF defense, Elvijs Presley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Linqvist. The Ryttartorpets FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Linqvist should have stopped the shot. Patrik Linqvist came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Malmö White Knights's Elvijs Presley. But to his dismay, Elvijs Presley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 73 minutes of play, Ryttartorpets FF's Hubert Gruber made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Banks was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Elvijs Presley came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvijs Presley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvijs Presley in the 86th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Di Feng Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvijs Presley struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Patrik Linqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö White Knights. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Elvijs Presley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö White Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvijs Presley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Linqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvijs Presley in the 96th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hubert Gruber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malmö White Knights fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ryttartorpets FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
