The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patrik Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Lindberg in the 2nd minute of the match. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrik Linqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Philip Åkerman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrik Linqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Philip Åkerman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. If Pierre-Emile Højbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Vitaliy van der Aa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist. Patrik Linqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Martinelli came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Philip Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Viggo Rang replaced Kim Kellbom. 53 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Åkerman came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hubert Gruber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Tunander made a huge save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by GrassNuts FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roy Keane was slow to take the kick. During this time Ryttartorpets FF's players had a chance to rest. Ryttartorpets FF's Roy Keane was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esbjörn Tunander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patrik Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match GrassNuts FC got a corner. Ryttartorpets FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Huang Gang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Philip Åkerman made a great header on GrassNuts FC's corner, it was just that Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Patrik Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Åkerman in the 70th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Pär Almkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Fransson to maneuver through the defense.
