With an all-out effort, Ryttartorpets FF's Bertil Kilström threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gottfrid Backlund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bertil Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taco Oldenborger in the 20th minute of the match. Bertil Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taco Oldenborger, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With his leg Bertil Kilström managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Ryttartorpets FF's Gottfrid Backlund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gottfrid Backlund was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Ryttartorpets FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, LA VIOLA's Bertil Kilström got control of the ball when Hubert Gruber tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Gregersson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Martinelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Bertil Kilström however easily saved by the left post. Konrad Wickander kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Hubert Gruber might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertil Kilström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Gruber ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Mohammad to make the kick off. Ryttartorpets FF's attentive Viggo Rang managed to snatch the ball when Charles Hök made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Bertil Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Gruber in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Gabriel Martinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Högberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Tage Löfgren. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esbjörn Kjellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA VIOLA's Viktor Nordstedt was substituted for Josef Mohammad. LA VIOLA's Stig-Åke Broberg was substituted for Mino Raiola. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ryttartorpets FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kenny Högberg was slow to take the kick. During this time LA VIOLA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kenny Högberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist did a great save. Tage Löfgren charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tage Löfgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Löfgren to maneuver through the defense.
