Samuel Åström did an outstanding performance 42 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Esbjörn Tunander in the goal. GrassNuts FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huang Gang in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Ravelli was a little too slow when Vitaliy van der Aa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The La vecchia signora manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing GrassNuts FC to win.
