After a defensive mix-up in La vecchia signora's zone, Viktor Nordstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal and Viktor Nordstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Rutledge in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Ravelli saved La vecchia signora from getting behind. La vecchia signora's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Åström in the 86th minute. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Rutledge in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Gottfrid Brenner notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of La vecchia signora's Thomas Ravelli. Thomas Ravelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the La vecchia signora players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LA VIOLA.
