The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Zuraw in the 9th minute of play forced La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Gustaf Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Sylwester Kempka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Kempka. Roch Zuraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Skräddare having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Roch Zuraw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gustaf Skräddare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 minutes La vecchia signora's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessandro Costacurta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Franco Baresi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Beniamin Sroki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Kempka scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Skräddare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 played minutes La vecchia signora got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Åström. In the 41st match minute Alessandro Costacurta ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Gustaf Skräddare. 4-0. Sylwester Kempka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Skräddare having to interfere. In the 46th minute Mark Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Gustaf Skräddare threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sylwester Kempka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Eleder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Skräddare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sylwester Kempka went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC fans cheered their team off the field, for while La vecchia signora had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
