Tor Echegoyen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Ekeberg's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute IKS Norrköping were awarded a corner. Karl-Ove Lägdin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led IKS Norrköping's Karl-Ove Lägdin to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor Echegoyen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 10 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Diniz. Tobias Ekeberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. After a rather tough play, Chute de Ouro FC's Washington de Carvalho got a free kick in the 13th minute. A hard shot 14 in the game by Tobias Ekeberg from a close distance when the talented Tor Echegoyen managed to make a qualified save. Chute de Ouro FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jing Bin in the 16th minute of play forced Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Yu Jing Bin could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Tor Echegoyen however easily saved by the left post. After 23 played minutes IKS Norrköping got a freekick which was hit by Yu Jing Bin. 26 minutes into the game, Tobias Ekeberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tor Echegoyen. Tobias Ekeberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lars Sörman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. IKS Norrköping's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Ove Lägdin in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes IKS Norrköping got a freekick which was hit by Petter Barck. Yu Jing Bin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tor Echegoyen made a huge save. Tobias Ekeberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Echegoyen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ricardinho Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, one of IKS Norrköping:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for IKS Norrköping. Hernani Leme walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tobias Ekeberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Tor Echegoyen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IKS Norrköping. Yu Jing Bin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Echegoyen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Chute de Ouro FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fabinho Duarte hit a great ball. Eriberto Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. IKS Norrköping's Felix Blomqvist was substituted for Karl-Ove Lägdin. Eriberto Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Tobias Ekeberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Echegoyen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Tobias Ekeberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tor Echegoyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yu Jing Bin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Echegoyen having to interfere. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jing Bin in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Chute de Ouro FC booed when IKS Norrköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Sörman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Sörman hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Yu Jing Bin scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor Echegoyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melker Bäckman in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Echegoyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that IKS Norrköping were the better team. IKS Norrköping's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
