An unexpectedly hard shot by Muammer Humbaracıbaşı in the 44th minute of play forced Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Simões made a kick off. After 95 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Simion. Ezber Bozan FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
