Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Clifton kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lane Berg got free with Fernando Pras in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Christiano Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Christiano Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. Odell McPherson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Palestra do Interior's Richard Ríos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascal Avalos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 17 minutes, Perivaldo Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra do Interior and the S.D. Bajen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Perivaldo Carneiro got a free kick in the 18th minute. Pascal Avalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Pirani's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Erik Clifton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascal Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Abraham Boyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the Palestra do Interior players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Boyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascal Avalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Marinho in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes S.D. Bajen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Richard Ríos who took care of the corner kick. 39 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Marinho came free, but Pascal Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Avalos came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Perivaldo Carneiro. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Abraham Boyer got a free kick in the 47th minute. S.D. Bajen made a substitution. Mohammed Cagle replaced Robbie Parson. In the 48th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Boyer to maneuver through the defense. 50 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Pirani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pascal Avalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelsinho Marinho was the one to do the kick off. Nelsinho Marinho took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascal Avalos. Pascal Avalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Palestra do Interior's Fernando Pras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Meyer in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos got control of the ball when Nelsinho Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palestra do Interior's Dinei Brito was substituted for Ronaldo Pirani. In the 67th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devon Pollard to maneuver through the defense. David Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Avalos having to interfere. Erik Clifton, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 93rd minute Nelsinho Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Marinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pascal Avalos, 0-5. Palestra do Interior's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
