After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Timmi Bantz got a free kick in the 15th minute. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jann Sparegodt in the 17th minute of play. Egil Sølve came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Egil Sølve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Holmkjar Hotspurs's Egil Sølve. Egil Sølve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Pablo Heitmann got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sidnei Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Egil Sølve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 51st match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmi Bantz to maneuver through the defense. Léo Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léo Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Léo Ortiz hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Kalle Bjarkmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Édouard Mendy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Alagoano came free, but Egil Sølve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Wilson Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Casper Emerek replaced Halfdan Wøldike. After 67 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Matorin. In the 69th minute Eliseu Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Sølve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Isak Wachenschwanz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eliseu Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Fajuth's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Sølve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Bjarkmann in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match, Eliseu Alagoano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Egil Sølve was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Al-Fajuth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
